You can download FACEBOOK video easily without using any software.
You can get FACEBOOK video from the cache folder on your PC.
Just follow as bellow:
For Internet explorer Browser
If you are using Internet Explorer browser, wait for the video on Facebook to load fully.
1. After loading full video, go to:
Tools> Internet Options> Browsing History Settings> View files.
2. You will see a list of files here. Sort or search for a large video file size.
3. Copy and paste that video file to your Desktop (or any location on hard drive).
This video file is in .flv format.
4. Rename the file's extension to .flv extension.
Example 123.flv
5. Play the video with FLV Player or compatible players.
For FireFox Browser
If you are using the FireFox browser, you can get the video in FLV format as above in similar a manner but the file is saved on a different location.
Your downloaded video location is:
D:(or C:)> Documents and Settings> ADMIN (your Admin login)> Local Settings >Application Data> Mozilla> Firefox > Profiles (one by one)
Update: For new Firefox version, if you are not able to find “Application Data” after Local Settings, just add “\Application Data” on the address bar at Local setting folder.
Here is the example:
C:\Documents and Settings\HTC\Local Settings\Application Data
(For the 'C:' is your harddrive, and 'HTC' is yout admin login name)
Good Luck!
It works for my Windows Vista Business and IE7.

google chrome?
ReplyDeleteYou can try:
ReplyDelete1. FFixer for Chrome - This is a Chrome extension for the same Firefox add-on Facebook Fixer or FFixer. On Google Chrome, you can install this extension and start downloading Facebook videos without much problem.
2. ChromeCacheView - A freeware software which enables you to access and download files from Google Chrome's cache.
I'm not sure if either would work since I'm not a Google Chromw user. Do give it a try anyway. Good luck!
